Mountain Movers Dance Studio is a locally owned business, centered around the art of dance. Through the Vaganova Ballet Method, we instill an appreciation for dance in and out of the classroom. With Ballet, Jazz, Pom, Contemporary, Ballet Conditioning, Hip Hop and more, our top focus is technique while still creating a safe and encouraging atmosphere for our students.
Each of our teachers has had several years of teaching dance to students of many ages. All of our instructors were once dancers themselves and have had experience with different instructors and in different areas of the state/US.

I have been dancing since I was 8 years old and immediately fell in love. During my dancing career, I was on schools pom teams, competed on studio dance teams and placed top overalls many time individually and with my teams.
I had also been accepted/attended several invitation only dance intensives such as Kirov Ballet, Next Generation, Pointe to the Future and more. Not only did I focus on widening my technique through different trainings, but I also widened my performance side of dance by performing in many ballets, being a guest dancer with Moscow Ballet's The Nutcracker multiple times, performed in Washington, DC at the Smithsonian Museum, etc. I am blessed to be a studio owner/teacher and continue passing on what I love with the next generation.

I have been participating in dance and gymnastics since I was three years old. I went to Westville high school where I was a member of the cheer team and also competed with a local dance studio outside of school for seven years. As a competitive dancer I won many titles and overalls while competing in jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, lyrical, and hip hop. I was also a member of the NSU pom squad for two years. When I am not teaching you can find me at NSU working on my Masters degree in counseling, reading, and spending time with my fiancé.

I began dancing at the age of 3 and have been dedicated to the art ever since. I am a proud alum of Tahlequah High School, where I hold the title of reigning All-State Pom.
After high school, I was a four-year tenure with the Universal Dance Association, where I traveled across the United States teaching dance camps and inspiring the next generation of dancers.
I then continued my dance journey at the University of Central Oklahoma, where I was a member of the dance team for four years. Two of which I was co-captain and captain my senior year. In my fifth year, I transitioned into the role of assistant coach while completing my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance.
I’m really excited to be back in my happy place which is the studio with children. There is something so so special about teaching and I, fortunately, am blessed to be given the opportunity to teach my passion. I get to share it with the youth and there is no better feeling for me.

I just graduated from Locust Grove High School in May and I attended school there since pre-k. I will now go on to start Diagnostic Medical Sonography school in October. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and have loved it ever since. I have trained in various styles from Ballet to Clogging. I have been on a competitive team since I was eleven and have won multiple awards and scholarships. In summer of 2023 I competed at Miss Oklahomas Teen where I placed in the top ten as a rookie. I love to dance and sharing it with the younger generation is so important to me.

I have been dancing since I was three years old and my love for it has only grown, dance has helped shape me into the person I have become and I couldn’t be more grateful. It took me on many fun adventures to multiple places, such as Washington D.C and New Orleans. I was also invited to attend dance intensives in New York City, Tulsa Ballet, and Kirov. When I’m not dancing I am helping out with a worship ministry that my friends and I have been blessed to start. Expressing God through the arts has always been special to me.

I started dancing when I was 2 years old, and have continued dancing ever since! I am currently a senior at Tahlequah High School and will graduate in May of 2026! I have been a part of the THS dance team for four years. I have trained in many different styles over the years, such as Ballet, hip-hop, Contemporary, Jazz, and pointe. In 2021, I attended the Tulsa Ballet summer intensive, where I received various training in many different styles of dance. This year will be my 5th year on the Mountain Movers competition team! After I graduate, I plan on attending college where I will earn my bachelor's degree! I am so excited for this dance season and can't wait to watch my little ones grow over the year!

I started dance when I was three. This year will be my 14th season of dance and my 9th season of competitive dance. This is my second year to assist dance classes. I’m on the high school Pom team. My favorite style of dance is clog. A couple of years ago I was invited to be a New York All Star dancer and go to New York to take a class from the Rockettes. While I was there I also got to take a few Broadway classes from Broadway choreographers.
I am so excited for this season. I can’t wait to share my love for dance and watch my younger students grow as a dancer!

I am a freshman at Tahlequah High school. I have been dancing since I was three years old and I am currently a member of the THS dance team. This year marks my fifth year with the Mountain Movers Competition Team. My favorite style of dance is contemporary, and I am so excited for this upcoming season!
I feel so grateful to witness these young dancers learn and grow. I am so happy to be a part of their journey and to pass on my passion for dance!
